Vision
Our aim is to make the work of carers easier and also to simplify and strengthen networking between patients, carers and even relatives.
Fill level monitoring
Our sensors continuously measure the fill level and transmit the signals to the associated app via our electronics.
Ecosystem
Those affected can check the fill level at any time and also receive notifications as soon as a certain level is reached.

General
Our SmartBagEco team is delighted to be taking part in the prestigious COSIMA 2024 competition. COSIMA challenges students to develop innovative applications for sensors and microsystems that improve everyday life.
Financing and marketing
In order to successfully realise our project and present it at the electronica trade fair in Munich, we are looking for committed sponsors who would like to support our vision. Your support will enable us to develop a functional prototype and promote innovative solutions for healthcare.
Project information
Find out more about our goals, technologies and progress. You can also download relevant documents and materials to gain a deeper insight into our innovative system.
Sensor and connecting elements
Easily share level data with carers and relatives to ensure better coordination of care. This allows everyone involved to act in good time and improve the quality of life of those affected.
You benefit
more control and security when handling medical bags. Optimise processes in care facilities and hospitals and ensure efficient use of resources.
Signal processing
Clip-on electronics are then connected and send the corresponding data to a readout app. The user then receives a notification as soon as a certain fill level is reached. The app also offers options for documentation and signalling in the event of malfunctions or deviations from the norm.
Software, app and data processing
With real-time fill level monitoring, automatic notifications of critical fill levels and a user-friendly interface, our app not only enables medical staff to provide efficient patient care, but also offers patients and their relatives more safety and control in everyday life. Whether in hospital, in care or in home care
Roadmap
Our roadmap shows the strategic steps for the further development of SmartBagEco. It outlines planned milestones and innovations to maximise the efficiency and user-friendliness of our system
Presentation at the MicroTec
Our team spokesperson Elisabeth Höbel presented the SmartBagEco project at the MicroTec trade fair. She presented the functional principle behind SmartBagEco with an informative poster. Her clear presentation of the technology and its advantages attracted the interest of many trade visitors. The presentation aroused great interest!
